In-Between #1–#4 (Polyptych) — Original Sensory Alchemy Mixed Media, Oil, Acrylic, Oil Pastel and Anthracite Inlay on Canvas on Board, 4 pcs — 40×60 cm A doorway into the dark half of the cycle. Four works. Two diptychs. Or four independent pieces — the choice is yours. Each panel holds the wound, the seed, and the trace of a new sun.
The Myth Every winter, we look into the dark: in the depth of a night lake or a night sky, doing the slow work of rebuilding our core from old layers. Each artifact of this alchemical process holds the wound, the seed, and the trace of a new sun. Persephone is descending. The pomegranate juice is still on her lips. Not yet underground. No longer on the surface. In summer she is warm light, the golden glow of life. In winter — a dragon. A dark flame, stilling in the depths, covered in cooling scales of anthracite, guarding the warmth. One face. Two masks. I sit with the canvas until early dusk. I mix scarlet paint with the scent of summer rocks, crush chalk and anthracite. Slowly. In silence. The witch's tool is patience. Once it was wood. Then stone. Fossil, fuel, jewel — all at once. With time and pressure, it becomes a black diamond. That's what the in-between is made of: what was, what is becoming, and what is still waiting.
Why it matters for a collector These are not paintings to match a sofa. They are works that change with the light, hold the space, and reward attention over years. Each panel is signed, certified, and one of a kind — a piece of the cycle you can live with.
