So long, that deep within it, hidden paths and lakes lead to "nowhere" — spaces so ancient that no human word was ever made for them. Touch a water lily leaf on the black surface of a lake — and beneath it, there is "nothing." "Nigredo." The unblinking eye of a raven from interstellar space, blinking back in surprise.
