The Myth The northern summer night is short and bright, like a lace shawl thrown over the world. It pulls you into bardo — the fog of timelessness. Neither here nor there. Neither day nor night. This state can be wondrous. Sometimes frightening. Always magical. In this soft fog, water lilies float as if in space. Weightless. Suspended between water and sky, between sleep and waking. They belong to the in-between. Once lived, such moments become some of the most important of our lives — moments of true awareness. But we push them away, forget them, lose them in the rush of everyday life. My method helps keep them. Each panel is a time capsule — with the silver glow of fog, the scent of the lake, and the roughness of forest thickets. A presence that changes with the light — like the northern night itself.
