Titanomachy — Original Sensory Alchemy Oil & Relief on Canvas, Mythological Abstract Painting, 50×80 cm
This powerful metaphor on canvas draws from the epic Greek clash of Olympians and Titans, serving as the artist's profound commentary on the tumultuous changes reshaping our world. Titanomachy mirrors the perpetual battle between chaos and order, transformation and inertia, tradition and innovation — a conflict waged across continents and within every heart. However, beyond all strife — past or present, divine or mortal — harmony inevitably emerges. A new sun always ascends.

The Myth
The birth of a new world through a tangible difference in potentials.
The tactile surface of this painting resembles the crust of a planet — the canvas mass is transformed into a mountain range whose relief can be read by touch.
Above it, in cosmic space, two hands protrude voluminously like sculptural bas-reliefs: one carries fire with authority, the other pours water in a gesture of farewell.
Visually, the work engages in a dialogue with Michelangelo's The Creation of Adam through its use of relief, while channeling the eternal duality of fire and water. These opposing, yet inextricably linked elements are presented as the primal crucible of life itself.
The canvas becomes the field of a direct, physical collision of elements, where the viewer experiences the Titanomachy not as a myth, but as a material event: the birth of a new world through a tangible difference in potentials.
As a key piece in the series Art as a Method of Cognition, the painting was unveiled during a solo exhibition at the Saint Petersburg Planetarium in 2022.
An exceptional acquisition for collectors drawn to mythological abstraction and works that translate epic narrative into tactile, physical experience.
