The Facets of Myth:

Depth of Summer (2026)
oil pactel & acrylic on paper

In the depths of the forest, the very idea of Depth holds a special power.
Deep green embraces me at the very edge of the woods — sheltering me from sun and rain beneath a quiet, welcoming canopy.
In the heart of the thicket, unknown encounters and new paths lie hidden.
In silent streams and dark lakes lives a particular kind of Depth — tea-coloured, olive, or blueberry-dark — a spiced, unsettling deepness that has neither bottom nor shore. It is an eye. It is a mirror of time that has already passed and is yet to come — though not necessarily here.
Everyone who touches the Forest learns to swim in that Depth. To be alone with it, without drowning entirely. And then to return — transformed.
These works are available as single pieces, as diptychs, or as triptychs — so you may choose exactly how much of that Depth you wish to live with.
